DNC 2024 Community Toolkit

Dear Chicago Neighbor and Business Owner,

The City of Chicago and the organizers of the DNC would like to minimize impacts and disruptions to local residents, businesses and organizations in advance of the Democratic National Convention, August 19-22.

The organizers have put together a toolkit with information to answer questions and to provide the tools needed to stay in loop on the impacted areas around the United Center and McCormick Place. Please note, some of the items included are maps that represent the areas that could be impacted around each and not the final perimeters.

DNC 2024 Community Impact Informational  Tool Kit for Residents, Businesses and Organizations.

As we get closer to the start of the convention, additional announcements will be made regarding street closures, parking restrictions, reroutes, alert notifications, how to get around the city and more.

The Office of Emergency Management and Communications website (Chicago.gov/OEMC) is serving as the hub for local information and impacts and will be updated. We also suggest that you download the ChicagoOEMC app at the Apple App and Google Play stores.

Please share this informational toolkit with your respective communities, employees, family and friends. The materials can be posted on social media, included in email blasts, newsletters, websites and more.

Thank you in advance for your help to get the word out.

Sincerely,

West Central Association

New Member: Wolf Point Distilling

Wolf Point Distilling is a Chicago-based craft distilling company specializing in manufacturing high-quality, small-batch spirits. Our spirits are designed and based on famed stories from Chicago history and complemented with highly detailed, hand-drawn illustrations that bring the stories to life on the bottle.

Wolf Point refers to the location where the North, South, and Main branches of the Chicago River meet. This area was central to the early development of Chicago, and was a place of many firsts for the city. It was home to Chicago's first tavern, theater, hotel, ferry, and bridges across the Chicago River, to name a few.

We produce small batch bourbon and rye whiskey, along with our craft gin, vodka, & white whiskey infusions. Within the distillery there is a dedicated R&D lab space where we often experiment with various botanicals and infusions. Before releasing for production, each spirit is methodically designed on a smaller scale to ensure quality and taste.

Wolf Point Distilling joins the small community of Chicago craft distillers with great excitement to share stories & create noteworthy spirits.

Learn more about our spirits & enjoy both cocktails and flights in our Tasting Room. Cheers!
