Health and Wellness Committee
Mission Statement:
To connect health and wellness businesses and professionals to collaborate and provide opportunities for health and wellness awareness by organizing and attending events, workshops, and other engaging channels to WCA communities. To offer the membership the opportunity to discuss the business of the association, to learn from their peers and from invited speakers, and to meet each other in a relaxed and non-competitive environment.

Madison Row Committee
Mission Statement:
We create a unique and active street that will be distinctive, experiential and memorable for the community and visitors alike. A street that solidifies Madison Row as the Main Street of the West Loop.

Economic Development Committee

Mission Statement:
The mission of the WCA EDC is to promote responsible and sustainable development within the WCA boundaries. As a local chamber of commerce, we value all aspects of development that promote vitality and longevity for the community. Furthermore, we recognize that the West Loop, which resides within the WCA boundaries, is an important economic engine for the City of Chicago as well as for the surrounding neighborhoods. Our goal is to assist in the process of achieving balanced development while enhancing the quality of life for both businesses and residents. The purpose of the EDC is to work with all the stakeholders to review both public and private developments within the area, provide a forum for community input as well as make recommendations to government officials. The EDC is committed to an open and transparent process working closely with other community groups and the various aldermen that are responsible for the area. The EDC's entire focus is to work with government, developers, community residents and businesses to actualize intelligent improvements within the WCA area.

Mission Statement:
Identify and evaluate positions on current and prospective legislative and public policy issues affecting business and development in the WCA area; monitor the progress of legislative and public policy initiatives and recommend adjustments to appropriate governmental bodies and staff; promote business and development positions and policies which benefit WCA members and the WCA area as a whole.

The mission of the Fundraising and Events committee is to build awareness of the chamber by creating unique experiences that highlight WCA businesses and provide monthly engagement for our members. We will work alongside our fellow committees to assist in building awareness of their efforts.

Mission Statement: The Safety & Security Committee of the West Central Association Chamber of Commerce works to promote a safe, welcoming, and vibrant business environment by fostering collaboration between businesses, residents, and public safety partners. Through communication, advocacy, and proactive solutions, the committee supports efforts that enhance security, address quality-of-life concerns, and strengthen confidence across WCA’s commercial corridors.
