How old is your business?
12 Years
How long have you been in the neighborhood?
Since 2009
Why the West Loop?
We've had long ties with the area and new it was primed for growth.
What are your top challenges in growing your business?
As we grow and evolve as a business, honoring the integrity of our fitness programs and personalization takes the most effort. We keep a limit to how many members we serve at a time to dedicate proper attention to our members fitness journey. Balancing this and increasing business is our ultimate challenge.
Why did you join the West Central Association?
We've been in the community for such a long time, but being part of the community is far different. It seems like the next stage of growth for us.
What makes your business unique?
Everything we do is focused on the nuanced detail of your movement patterns and daily practices. We keep small classes to insure personalization and see our clients as our family. Most of our clients have been with us for over 6 years and keeping them moving well and being well for a life time is the primary goal.
What gets you up in the morning?
My members! 3:30 AM wake up folks! That, and the opportunity to engage and coach daily for our members health and well being. Running a gym is a unique opportunity to engage with the human spirit and physicality sometimes 6 days a week. Where else do you get the opportunity to work with someone daily and see their lives up close and personal. It is such a unique opportunity. It is priceless.
What’s your favorite part of the West Loop?
The variety of architecture and city planning aesthetics. Old buildings, new buildings, one ways, dead ends. Lots to run through, jump over and climb on.
What does the future look like?
We wont know until we get there. All I can say is the West Loop is growing and so shall we.

Bonus Question: Tell us a fun fact about you or your business!
When we opened in 2009, Fulton Fit House was right next to the space that would be Publican Quality Meats. In those days "Fulton Market" was a jungle of delivery trucks, fork lifts and fish smells. I kinda miss that smell... Amazing what 10 years can do to a neighborhood. Onward and upward!
