The West Central Association - Chamber of Commerce and Greektown SSA #16 Announce the Creation of an Inaugural Neighborhood Map
The West Central Association - Chamber of Commerce and Greektown SSA #16 are excited to announce the creation of an inaugural neighborhood map, in partnership with Concierge Preferred. The first joint project of its kind for the area, the map is designed to directly target hotel guests within walking distance of West Loop and Greektown businesses.

Alderman Burnett reports that the Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT) is preparing to commence construction on the following two projects located in the 27th Ward:
Project Type: New Traffic Signal Installation
Project Name: Intersection Improvements at N. Aberdeen Street and W. Lake Street
Project Limits: N. Morgan Street and W. Lake Street
Project Schedule: August 2018 to November 2018
Project Description: The project scope of work includes the removal and replacement of the existing pavement, curb and gutter, sidewalk, pavement marking/signage, street lighting and installation of new traffic signal poles, signal heads and equipment.
